Rest is not a reward

Reframing recovery as the practice itself, not the thing you earn afterwards.

Rest is not a reward

We treat rest as something to be earned — the payoff after enough effort. Restorative yoga quietly rejects that whole arrangement.

You do not have to deserve rest. You only have to allow it.

A single supported pose, held for ten minutes with a bolster under the spine, does more for a frayed nervous system than an hour of forcing. The nothing is the point.

Start with one restorative session a week. Not as a treat for a hard week, but as maintenance for a whole life. Your body has been asking for it for a while.
