A morning vinyasa for tight hips

Tight hips are rarely about the hips. They are about hours of sitting, bracing and holding. This flow gives them ten unhurried minutes before the day takes over.

Move slowly. This is a wake-up, not a workout.

Begin in a low lunge, both hands framing the front foot. Breathe into the front hip for five rounds, then let the back knee sink. Repeat on the second side before rising.

Finish seated, in a simple forward fold. Ten breaths. Notice how much further you travel than you did at the start — not because you tried harder, but because you stopped rushing.
